Extreme Preservation

This farmhouse, the last remaining plantation home in Savannah, was scheduled
for demolition when Ramsey discovered it. It is believed to have been used as a
refuge in the underground railroad. Realizing the history that would be lost with
this home, Ramsey decided to move it to a new location. Following is a short
pictorial history of the move. The home is currently undergoing complete
restoration in its new location.
